Mulching and fertilizer

Do you take into account mulching while mowing when you calculate fertilizer rates? If so what percentage?

What does mulching mowing being "taken into account" for in relation to fertilizing???

It has alot to do with the amount of N you use if you mulch and leave clipping on the lawn. You would use less because you are returning some back to the lawn.

No, I always left the spreader setting the same. Most of the time I did not know if they returned their clippings or picked-up.

That's what I mean. Since I do my own mowing I might as well pay attention to that.

Yes, of course you do, in addition to other N inputs as well.
