Can anyone give me an idea on where I can get a complete trimmer head for a Shindaiwa Model s 270-1/EPA

Any Echo/Shindiawa dealer should be able to fix you up. Sorry I can't provide the actual model number but I've used the one at the top of the page in the link provided--holds about 25 feet of .105 line. It's the same head we put on all Echo and Shindiawa commercial trimmers in the dealership. About $30.

No springs to lose and replacement spools and eyelets are available.

Your choice depends a lot on what you're accustomed to.

Thanks for the info, some parts sites show the S replaced with a T, I think Jack's has one for $35.00. Thanks again......
