32" Wright Stander problems!!!
Yesterday we went to start my 32" stander and it starts right up but it only sounds like only one piston was firing then it died and wont start back up... we pulled that cord for half an hour trying to even get some fire but there is none.
can anyone point me on what would cause this??? |

Not sure what you've checked so far so... Check plug first. It's a 32" mower so it most likely has a single cylinder engine. If plug is ok check the wire. Then check fuel filter. Also choke may be stuck fully open, check the cable running to it.
Other than that I don't know. Honestly it sounds like it's a spark or fuel intake issue (plug, wire or choke). Also knowing the info on what engine you have also how many hours you have on your machine will help us in tracking down the possibilites.

Before you start playing with the wiring take the valve covers off. If your valves were not adjusted kaws will spit the pushrods off the rockers and only run on one cylinder. Also make sure your valve guides did not push down inside the head. You’ll know this by the valve seal just flopping around on the valve stem. I had the same problem happen to me on a well used kaw motor.
