Check Northern Tool. They have a number of after market seats in their catalog

I also have been looking into this. Most people recommend the Michigan, but I've also been told the Grammer seats are good, maybe even better? I haven't seen one yet, though.

I've never thought of putting some type of a seat suspension on my MZ till now. I found these 2 on ebay (the first one says for John Deere, but in the description it talks about 'universal' mounting):

http://www.ebay.com/itm/SEAT-SUSPENS...item231c3c6e63

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Lawn-Mower-S...item20c4d3140d

One yard I mow can be fairly rough, but I have to slow down anyway to cut the predominant Bahia grass...tough stuff to mow.

I didn't know you could get just the bottom suspension. Everybody talks about the $500+ seats. I wonder how effective these are compared with the Michigan's? And I wonder how much higher you would sit?
