Aeravator seeder or z plug?
After reading countless threads, I couldn't seem to find the answer I was looking for. I am looking for the all around best machine to aerate and seed. I am looking at two options:
1. buying a small compact tractor and putting a 1st products aeravator seeder on the machine. 2. L.T. rich z plug with slice seeder and or broadcast seeder (can anybody tell me whether the gandy slice seeder has better results than aerating and broadcast seeding?) Obviously the lt rich is a bit more cost effective, but the aeravator seems to make more sense. Has anybody put these two different setups up against each other? |

i have the same issue....I am going to get a tractor...need it for many other things...but need a good way to seed too! I almost decided on Z-plug for the seeding....mainly because most of my yards are residential, or apartment complex's....

I have a 30hp Bobcat Tractor with a 60" Aervator/Seeder. Works awesome for aerating, primary seeding and overseeding. I also plant whitetail food plots with it!
