wheel motor leak
super mini Z model 927277ht serial 07031680, rt wheel motor oil coming from around brake drum. Do you have the part # for the seal-bearing kit? Also I will no doubt need the out put shaft for the wheel motor, experience tells me the bearing got rusty and is coming apart, since there is a decent amount of up and down play in the wheel. The pump number is ceo18046/ 7053A70511. Is this a white motor? Thanks, Scott

The seal kit is Hustler part # 784991
It is a White Wheel Motor, White model # CE 782383–18 Hustler part # 782383 We don't offer the bearing and shaft kit. IF the bearing has failed in the wheel motor you need to very careful to clean out the system, it will contaminate the pump if its really bad and cause a pump failure on that side. Pj

seal popped out
I mam running into more and more wheel motor problems, the latest in on a super miniZ, The seal on the wheel motor comes out. I put it back in , it seemed to fit nice and snug, however within a day it came back out, What makes it come out? these motors both have some up and down shaft play. Scott

Shaft and or bearing wear and damage will cause the shaft to pop the seal out.

seal
Sounds like this is happening on most every super Z machine??? Maybe hustler should help these customers out. These mowers were advertised as the fastest and the toughest mowers on the planet...
The least Hustler could do is offer a shaft and seal kit repair, we can get the seal kits, however putting in a new seal doesn,t fix it .it just pops out. Just my 2 cents |
