The ultimate, most reliable walk behind commercial mower!?
I am in the process of picking up a kubota w5021. I found one in excellent condition, although it was pricey and missing the bagger. I am very fond of Japanese made equipment for their reliability... Anyways, Im wondering if there is a particular large mower model that has a reputation for being super reliable? Something along the lines of a 30"-36" walk behind... I have searched everywhere for a nice Kubota but they stopped producing parts for the CW1336... I have heard the brand SCAG used many times. How are these units?

You will be very happy with the w5021. May I ask how much you're paying? Is it the residential self-propelled model (w5021sc) or the commercial self-propelled (w5021scc)?
As for mid-sized walk-behinds, I bought a used 32" Exmark Viking, and it has been very reliable and easy to use. |

I paid 300 for My 19" push mower then an extra 100 to ship. I then picked up an sc 21" residential for 400 then an extra 100 to ship it. Both mowers are pristine. The 5019 looks borderline brand new...

Yes, they are great mowers. I had an SC, but its 3 inch height of cut wasn't enough for my St. Augustine. So I sold the SC and finally found an SCC in great shape (cuts up to 3.5 inches high and has faster groundspeed). Good luck with your budding Kubota collection!
