Kubota ZG222-48 Engine

I just recently purchased a Kubota zg222-48 mower for residential use.
When shutting down the engine after use it continues to try to run for
a few seconds. Is this normal? I have tried different throttle settings and
waiting for a couple of minutes before shutting down. Has anybody else experienced this? Thanks

Engine run-on

Premium fuel will solve that problem and its worth the extra cost. The engine will run cooler and cleaner. Letting it run on will cause damage after time.

Troubled by Carburator Issues

After 2 1/2 years of light use (less that 80 hours). I am beginning to have
carburator issues again with my mower. Flooding on restart when mower has been shut off for a few minutes engine still hot. Also having issues with maybe a safety switch on one of the drive handles. After shutting off the mower (say to pick up a limb) when you pull the handles in and forward the mower dies. The only way to resume mowing is to sit and idle between 5 & 10 minutes then it will run. Have any other owners had similar issues.
