If you want a Husqvarna 323l for $229.99.....

.....Go to http://www.northerntool.com/shop/too...0664_200470664, add the tool to your cart, and enter coupon code 144031. This is the best price you will find on this great trimmer.

I am tempted to buy this one. My Echo SRM 230 is a heavy beast. This trimmer is about 2 pounds lighter. That doesn't sound like much, but after a few yards the extra weight adds up.

Wow, I thought the SRM 230 was light, the most comfortable I've used. But the carburetor is not that great.

I went though the order process but by the time you add shipping and TAXES I would only end up saving $20. I can get that price at my local dealer.

If you happen to have a local store for pickup it might be worthwhile.

If you really want to be a bargain shopper, you could also use Mr Rebates and probably get 4% cash back on the purchase. That would be about 9 bucks. I say probably because sometimes a coupon could nullify cash back. I've only had that happen with Fatwallet cash back. Mr Rebates has never done that to me. Heck, if you don't already have a Mr Rebates account they give you a $5 bonus for signing up.

That is the option I chose. Today, $50.00 savings is a lot of money.

I've been considering a 323l Husky trimmer. I'll have to wait until I can justify the purchase. I like to spend money so I have to control my OCD.

Mine feels like a tank. Some of the problem is getting used to holding the throttle in left hand- so I can walk forward and trim and not throw crap into the beds.

I have a feeling the Husky will feel like a feather compared to the Echo. I have not had any carb issues at all with the 230.

Does Husqvarna list the weights of their trimmers similarly enough to how Stihl does it to compare apples to apples? Anyone know? Because this thing has the same power rating as the lightest pro Stihl, yet weighs over a pound less. Really impressive if they both are weighed the same, with/without the head & fluids etc.

I just put my 326 LS on a postal scale. Shows just under 11 1/2 lbs. Almost out of gas and trimmer line. Certainly heavier than the weight listed on their site. The first day I had it, I noticed it felt heavier than the 10 1/2 lb Kawi I had been using. The scale confirmed it.
