Needles in turf

Wow! That is something I have never come across here but being a port city we tend to have more coke fiends here.

What jobs were they found on??

If they were not commercial you should let the home owners in on it.

yikes! you get stuck by one of those needles your life is over. no telling what you would catch. i would drop the account if you keep finding them there.

explain to them they need to do something about it and you don't want to put your life and the lives of your employees at risk.

One of the places I mow is a church. Lots of idiots like to throw their crap out in front of it just because it is a church. I have had them do it right after I cleaned the ditch up. They go by one way, then come back the other with fast food and throw the bags out and yell stupid stuff to get my attention that they are doing it. It is right down the street from the police station too. I have found needles, used condoms, and used tampons pretty much every year there. I will only pick the needles up by the pusher end and with a pair of gloves that get thrown away afterward. I use sticks at least a foot long like chopsticks to get the other two into the trash bag.

Classy folks around these parts I guess.

i was helping out part time with Servpro company about 5 years ago. we had to go in and clean this place up where the guy was a druggie.

i was scared to death. blood on the walls, needles everywhere and crap. i had 3 pairs of gloves on. 2 pairs of 4mil nitrile gloves and 1 heavy duty pair and they were taped around the end to the suit i was wearing. we were also wearing respirators and goggles and everything we could.

just one prick from one of those things and bye bye you are gonna die from aids or some other disease. this guy was dead that's why we were sent in to clean up the place.

very hazardous situation.
