im thinking either mower will serve you well. decisions are tuff...LOL. I researched this a while back and bought the honda. i am very impressed so far. Not only did it mulch grass well, when the leaves fell, i was able to mulch them up with no problem. Here in west texas, obviously there arent as many leaves as other areas, but overall im happy with the purchase, and hope you are happy with yours as well.
good luck

The Honda is ok but engine is gutless.
If you get the Toro make sure you get the Kaw. I made the mistake of getting a Proline with the Honda engine once....bad move. |

I have a Honda and a Toro Proline. The Honda is a toy compared to my Proline . My Proline is old and won't die. It is powered by Kohler Commercial 14 . My Proline has cut 5-10 yards a week for over 10 years and still starts on the first pull. I would even buy used if has Kawasaki or Kohler engine.
