little confused on how you can hire someone for fert and squirt and keepem busy

Ok say your worker can do 20 yards a day right? ok if you have 300 customers thats 15 days worth of work. Pre emergents have to be down in a certain window. say 20 days maybe? so if he works those 300 customers and takes him 20 says(the extra 5 is for weekends) and you are on a 6 week program(8 times a yr). then you have 3 weeks between each app that guy is doing nothing right? so how do companys hire out and keep there workers busy and on a full time schedule? am i missing something? thanks a ton for the answers!

Start selling other related services if their pest license covers it. For example we have had great success with treating for insects around the perimeter of homes and doing flea/tick treatments. most of these customers are on a one treatment a month program and fit in great between regular apps.
Why do people not respect us as they do other tradesmen? Because every Tom, Dick, and Harry doesn't think he can be a plumber or electrician!
