lcf vs f 350

Looking for another truck for my guys. Limited trailer time mainly to hold hand tools and pick up various supplies.

97-02 Mitsubishi fuso 145K 6cy diesel 5sp manual 10' flatbed
vs
99-03 F 350 -450 7.3 6speed manual

I have had plenty of experience with the f-350 and 450's....my questions are:

Will the LCF be
easier to drive
better fuel economy
is it stronger frame brake wise
