Extendable Hedge Trimmer

Hello, I'm new to the site, been lurking for awhile now but figured hey lets give it a rip. So anyways...

I did some searching but didn't see much about this. I'm looking for a (hopefully) used hedge trimmer that I can extend to get to the tough to reach places. Probably going to get a 135degree one so I'm not so limited with the fixed head types. However with how much I'll be using it I'm wondering about getting an electric one instead of what sthil and echo have to offer.

Thoughts?

PS
Also wondering about a ladder upgrade, thinking orchard ladder, again for getting into the tough spots...anyone have experience with them?

If you think it's expensive to hire a professional to do the job, wait until you hire an amateur.
