Welding up some equipment racks

Thought I would make this thread up seems like I'm finding more things to fab up and thought I would keep them all in one thread...

First was a rack for shovel's and rakes. Made from 1/8inch thick stock. 1x1 square stock 1/8 thick 4inch wide flat stock and some L channel cost around $12 to build.Name: 547896_352471321498575_1668575361_n.jpg

I ran out of welding wire so I'll finish it up tomm... I used 1 1/2 square stock 1/8inch thick I'm not welding any of the racks to the trailer so I can take off for any reason ,The round bar I had laying around bent it up for a bace to hole the bottom of the blower and also made a ring to hold the wand.. All the blots are grade 8.. I have a total of $18.50 into this...Some of the round bar I had bent up for other things but never used them, The black bar in the pic is from a table saw that I had around.

Sorry for posting some of the pics again I thought I could add the thread I started before to this thread and was wrong so SORRY for flooding the thread

Honestly you can weld but you aren't taking aesthetics into account at all, people don't want a heap of scrap metal with a mower on it outside of there property ...

I don't know what you mean by that. I'm building racks to hold my equipment on the trailer that's all. I thought that what I'm building might give others some ideas if they want to build something like it. Has nothing to do with my customers. I figured the only rack I will buy is the Xtreme Series Trimmer Rack.

Looks good man! I need to look into doing the same for my trailer. Did you pick everything up just at a steel yard? Or at home depot or that sort of thing?

You can get the steel at Homedepot but it cost more the steel yard will be cheaper.. My family has one of the biggest welding and hydraulic equipment shops in north east PA so I can get whatever I need.. If you were closer I would build you a rack at cost, I would do that for anyone on the forum.

Shoot, that would be nice! Have you looked into building string trimmer racks? I'm trying to figure out a good way to build my own, just for fun.

I have built trimmer racks before but I am going to buy the new xtreme Series trimmer rack from Green Touch. I like the way the locks are on there newer racks makes it harder to rip off the trimmers. I've built racks like there classic series racks

well I finished 98% of the blower rack waiting for the paint to dry but I might take the welder out again and tinker with it a little more. Here's what I have so far. I painted the same color as the cub just because I have tons of the paint lol should be close to the Xtreme Series Trimmer Rack color I will be buying.

I'm going to drill a hole in the hanger and just put a lock threw it and I may weld the hooks of the straps to the rack so there all way's there and cant come off.
