Stolen Sithil HT 101 Pole Pruner

My Stihl HT 101 Pole pruner was stolen off my trailer as I mowed at Southwest Plaza Shopping Center in Springfield IL. Sometime Between 2:20 pm and 4:40 pm 4/16/12 someone walked up onto my trailer cut the padlock on the rack, pulled the pins and stole the pole pruner. pictures are of the serial number and the rack it is mounted on, which leaves some very distinguishable marks on the pole and grip. If you see the pruners or have any information please contact me. Thank you for reading and any info.

So I was so mad I couldn't even type Stihl correctly in the title of this thread last week. Thieves are rotten excuses for humans.

The same scum that is stealing all the kit in your homeland and the UK, eastern European countries and China for you. State side Mexico,Central/South America.

The question was ment to provoke a theory that if there is no market there is no insensitive ! I wouldn't go as far as branding a whole nation of people's. Thieving people are everywhere, just look at the jails... anyway its not going to stop. All we can do is slow them down by making it too difficult to rob from us..

Sorry to hear that Ctll, hope something comes up with getting it back. I hate a thief more than anything...

If I caught someone stealing my Stihl pruner off my trailer I would probably not get to use it for a long time bc one of my workers would have to pull me off after beating them close to....

Your premis is based on fantasy rather than reality. " if there is no market there is no incentive"?, are you implying that because his equipment was secured to his trailer out side that it was his fault it was stolen or should all thieves just take what they need hence no incentive?. Since I live and work in realville I have no issues with saying where nearly all stolen equipment ends up sooner or later, like you said thieving people are everywhere. I believe the owner of the stolen equipment did the best he could to protect his property.
I do hope he will be able to recover the item that was stolen.

Stihl HT-101 stolen from me as well last week. Saying I was mad is an understatement..

Reported it to county sheriff to get case number, since I had the serial number. Monitoring the pawn shops, craigslist and such, but expecting the worst and hoping for best.
