Even though this thread is not about you, Pitrack, I really like the placement of the lighting on this bubbler.

You didn't hijack the thread. Something similar to this would look perfect in the limited area that BLC1 has and still have enough space for some specimen plantings.

Those are very cool. Do you still get the waterfall sounds from these? It looks like you would still get something similar.

Also, I think the area I am working with is bigger than what most of those are. Would you suggest just building it with bigger rocks to fill the space?

You could. Considering that the area that you will be using is surrounded by hardscaping, you most certainly want to leave some space for plantings to soften the visual impact.

One thing to keep in mind in the pictures they don't look like they take up too much space but you may want to factor in splash as well. Certain situations splash isn't a huge issue, just something to consider.

Here's a couple more pics of the same features just zoomed out. (You can see the splash in both)
![]() The water on the limestone on the right of the picture is from sprinklers not the boulder. The sidewalk is obviously from the boulder, little more than I wanted to have. If you can believe it this boulder has an 8,000gph pump!

With the height of the deck in the background, Should I put some taller rocks in there?

Probably just personal preference on that. Remember your boulder will most likely be level with your patio and not sunk into the hole that is there now. Typically taller rocks would have more splash, more sound. But there are ways of getting the sound out of shorter ones too. Lot of factors that go into it but honestly I think it boils down to what you want to look at everyday.
