Scag Tiger Cub

I apologize if i am butting in. I am new to the site and would like to find some information on a Scag Tiger Cub. Was not sure how to start a dialogue with any interested in helping me. I have found a used Cub but can not determine the year of the machine and the seller can not find an hour meter on it. HELP!!!

in a somewhat short amount of time i think this mower i am looking at is between a 2001 and 2005, with no hour meter. I am looking for some help with a rough value. what is a fair price to offer this guy. It appears from pictures to be in pretty good shape. unfortunately i will have to drive 250 miles to see for myself.

i have a 2009 tiger cub and love it. the hour meter should be behind the seat inside the right rear tire. if its not there...then he has removed it. probably because it has a bazilion hours on it. treat carefully. if you have the ability always buy new off the bat. its easier than fixing used in the long run. i bought a turf tracer used...hour meter had 930 hours on it...when i took the hyd oil filter off it had 1470 hours on it and the date said 3 years before i bought it. be carefull.... most parts on these mowers are more expensive than a monthly payment for a new one.
