winter color this year
For the past 3 or 4 years I've seeded fescue every September and then atleast half dies the next summer. I'm thinking I'm going to quit fighting it and go with bermuda for most of my yard next year. I like to have green grass in the winter so I'm wondering which would be better annual or perennial ryegrass for this winter? I've always used annual in my backyard b/c I never seeded fescue in the back. Was trying to figure out if fescue would last. I like the darker color of perennial but didn't know if we (NC) were too far north for it to die out in time for the bermuda to take over. Which would you guys suggest?
