payrole question

I am the owner of my lawn/snow biz. I am not a huge company by any means I don't even have any employess but sometimes if I need some help I have some friends help out. Do any of you LCO owners put yourself on pay role and what is a good method on a payrate for your self? I pay who ever helps me 10 bucks an hour. If they run a zero turn or any equipment they get a 2 dollar raise. Should I use that method for my self? Or am I just crazy for doing this whole project? My wife seems to think so Haha THANKS AGAIN!!

Are you sure you want to be a business owner? If so, are you sure you are ready to be a business owner?
