I have gravely pro150 when mower runs for 10mins or so the motor cuts off hard to start but when it cools off it starts up runs alittle while and dies .carb is clean .could be a bad plug or coil

Hello Nathan,


Always replace a spark plug first when suspecting a ignition issue.....

It could also be the coil and or igniter if your's is equipped with one, Newer FC's didn't have the igniter.

Test the coil as outlined with a multimeter;




Igniter test, Choose which looks like your's;

I will replace the plug tomorrow and then go from their .thanks for the help.it would be nice if was just the plug
