Actually a Simplicity Sunstar. There was a brief orange Allis Version before Deutz bought Allis. Then the green didn't last long as Deutz didn't stay with the brand very long.

My grandfather had the Allis 1920 when I still lived back home. It was a beast of a lawn tractor and had pto driven deck along with hydraulic steering.

I figured there were some old Farm Boys on this site that might have gotten it.

It was an OOOOOOLD mid western farm boy that told me what that one was.

lol


I grew up in KY, I'm surprised I hadn't ever seen one.
Probably they had all rusted out by the time I was on the scene.

The 1920 was a mid to early nineties machine, not that old. LOL!

My grandfather always had Allis(siplicity) lawn tractors ever since I was old enough to mow the farm with one.

About every 3-4 years he would upgrade models.
