wheel fell of 48 deere walk behind
I was mowing a hill and the left drive wheel fell of my 91 deere 48 belt drive walk behind. I understand the part I need to keep the wheel on (look like some kind of retaining ring) but do not know the name of said part. Please excuse my ignorance i'm a newbie.

Go to www.partstree.com and type in John Deere in the manufacturer field, then your model number in the space below that. They usually have fairly detailed parts breakdowns for even older equipment. I suspect your axle shaft is 1 inch, but I'm not sure exactly what size snap ring you'll need.
