New York/Long island cutting

Just wondering when do you guys cut up until? Im from Long Island and just trying to figure out when to mow up until. Do you guys cut up until the end of october? I stopped mowing at the first week of october, but I saw many other landscaping companies still mowing. (take into account that I am not on contract with the customers). But next season I plan on getting people on contract. And I know most companies are on a 30 visit for weekly lawn maintenance contract. Im just trying to figure for the 30 visit contract when do you start mowing and end? Thanks in advance!!

Depends on weather this year. Some year's done Oct 1, some year's Nov 1.

Then another benefit to fall lime and fertilizing. Good up sell work and keeps the lawns growing longer into the fall.

Lots of luck charging people for 30 cuts when their lawn stops growing after the 26th cut.

Last year I got 28 cuts. Because you get 28 cuts one year does not mean that you will get 28 every year.

Are you guys on contract with your customers? Some landscapers spell everything out for their customers. A friend gave me his old contract with a landscaper before he started using me and the landscaper spelled everything out.example: 30 visits of weekly lawnmaintence at $30. 1 visit fall clean up $285. 1 visit spring clean up $100. And he had him pay it off at on a 9 month billing cycle. Is that the way to do it? I'm just trying to be as professional as possible. Thanks in advance again!
