Serious question. How do you clean leaves out of that soft scape crap. It weighs nothing so you can't blow them out. If it was pine bark you can just blow them out. It is like pine straw but worse. I have a few new customers this year with it. One with an oak in the yard. It looks bad.

I get it saves your back. You can get more moved cuz it weighs nothing. i also get that it is not dense enough to suppress weeds on its own and has to be chemically helped big time. understand the guys that only do installs using it. I just don't get it if you ever go back to the job.

That looked like a lot of work... Not a fan of Softscape, I actually refuse to use it. It's pointless- mulch is suppost keep roots cool, hold moisture, and keep weeds down. Softscape is only used for looks in my opinion. I hate maintaining lawns and beds that have Softscape, if you get to close with the blower or discharge chute there goes half the bed!

Man we have 50% chance of rain today and tomorrow. Plus 20% the rest if the week so far. All this rain make the grass grow but it also slows you down.

To me it's easy to maintain. If your pulling weeds it's a lot easier to move the softscape out the way versus the wood chips. That's my opinion.

I wonder since we are getting so much rain, is that the reason it is stay hot. Like I don't remember the weather being this bad last couple of years
