It needs a bath and are those solid tires? If so, watch out for leaking axle seals and worn out bearings..

yup they are solid tires.... is that a deal breaker?

Ive used skid steers plenty in the past, but not an expert by any stretch, and definitely not a mechanic.

This guy seems like a straight shooter (farmer), but i can't really afford what my local place wants for a full inspection, so i have to give it a good once over myself.

lots of other good machines out there, newer, less hours, mostly deeres, and a few bobcats, but this is the only entry at this price line for a machine with enclosed cab and heat.

LOL just went out to this guys farm to buy the 248. Turns out I've been talking to his wife, trying to sell the machine via email. Turns out the guy actually did sell it last week. Son in law broke the news to her while i was there.. She says to him "well, where's the money?" lol priceless !
