|
What size enclosed trailer should I get?
Im looking at getting an enclosed trailer soon. Im either getting a 16 or 18 ft but havent decided yet. Also im not sure whether or not to get an 8.5 ft or 7 ft wide. I have a 61" scag and im growing every year so might have 2 mowers pretty soon. What do you guys prefer that have enclosed trailers? feel free to post some pictures!

Defentlay get the 8.5 foot if your planing on using it as a mobile workshop think about even going with a 20 ft

Go as big as you can, - if your growing every year you may use the extra space before you know it. 8.5 is great. 20 foot would be nice.

Get the 20' man, if you are in it to win it....you will not be disappointed. Then get it all Logo and Designed up! Your trucks, shirts, etc. Spend the money if you can, it will pay itself back quick...

20 ft is crazy big! I dint even think i have enough room at my house for a 20ft. Im going to get a 8.5 x 18. It will be lettered. How do you guys feel about lettering the back door or your trailer? is it worth it?

I have an 8.5x20 and it is a nice size. One thing I did notice when shopping brands was the 20' car haulers almost always have a dovetail, and some of the 16' and 18' I have seen do not. Depending on what you load in the trailer, a 20' or 24' might have the rear wheels parked on the dovetail. My last mower in is parked like that and so far not a big deal. OTOH, no dovetail on a higher riding 16'/18' might have a somewhat sharp ramp angle. Just something to think about.

I run a 7 x 16ft enclose. I love it. If I was going to do it again it would have been 8 or 8.5 wide. It gets tight in there with wackers and blower hanging on the wall and a 60" z.
As soon as I can figure my photo bucket password out I'll post pics.
