He has gone bankrupt at least once as a result of leveraging.

Again, when using leverage you must remain balanced, too many bad things happen when there is too much leverage.

If your credit is good it won't be a problem provided the truck is worth it's loan value and within the years of the loan.

The truck will be gone w/in 12 hours of hitting craigslist. Is that enough time to get a loan?

Should be...but I always say "no deal is too good that I can't walk away from it"

And normally you can retain a vehicle with a little down or earnest money.

I saw a 05 crew cab isuzu diesel w 130k miles box w dovetail built into the box(part of van body) for 11k. If you had to line of financing, you were too late. That was a 20k truck.
