High lift blades
I recently purchased a 44 Exmark pioneer s-series. I've always mulched but have seen a lot of guys doing side discharge. What blades are you all using and do you normally have to double cut? I'm just running the factory high lift blades and it seemed like it left grass all over and I had to go over it quite a bit. I mow fescue grass all year. Any recommendations on the blades?

If your leaving grass everywhere that means your probably cutting to low.

This week was my first time mowing with it so I kind of wondered if I just don't have it dialed in yet. I was cutting at 3 1/2 inches, but it did look shorter than my other mower cuts. I think my other mower is off a bit on the height. I liked the length the Exmark cut i just didn't like all the grass.

You can't always depend on the height chart on mowers. Best advice measure on flat surface .

High lift blades
Love gator hi lift. They do tend to shoot grass out farther so you do spry beds and homes.
