Weed Advice

Hello everyone,

I live in Alabama and have 1.5 acres. I have "mostly" bermuda grass in my yard and would like to get the weeds at bay and try to get the lush lawn we all dream about.

My question is, I have a lot of crabgrass now and I always in the winter get COVERED with henbit and chickweed. Where would I begin to combat this??

Pre-emergent for the henbit and chickweed now?? What to do about the crabgrass??

Thanks in advance...

An application of pendimethalin containing product (Scotts Halts, Turfbuilder + Halts) in the fall will prevent many small seeded winter annuals like your henbit and chickweed. Another spring application of the same products should help with crabgrass in the spring.
