Help with holly

This holly had its trunk covered. We opened it up and put down holly tone. Other than that the soil is somewhat wet. Is this holly ok or do I need to take more action?

Dryer Vent

Other than the future damage to the foliage from the dryer vent, spray the leaves to protect against winter damage with Wilt-Pruf.
Monitor the spring growth of new foliage in April...don't be afraid tp shear the new leaves to promote a fuller profile.

Help with holly

Thanks for pointing out the dryer vent. I totally missed that.

Also for the tip on pruning despite the lose growth.
