I have needs too.

i also have the 200FP set. The trakall from T-3. Lets not forget the Fisher and Dynatel IAs.
A 521 transmitter converted to D cell and mounted in a Pelican 1450 case with extended leads that is dedicated to wire sorting.

Since both of my TDRs and my GTDR have tone generator features along with my stationmaster i think those needs are covered.

i still have needs though.

Owner decided not to excavate under the tree to repair/replace the cable at this time. It will be a backhoe when the excavation is needed in the future.

We were able to add a valve doubler and tap into the closest box and get it all going.

Now I know why a toner is a must have. Bidding on one now.

Thanks for all the assists. Especially 1idejim. He knows what I mean.

A bare wire wrapped around the end of a 521 receiver and sticking out at the end can be used as a sort of toner in a pinch.
