have you thought of building (at no extra cost) composting bins for each of your customers? you could dump the clippings in the bin, in the corner of their property, and then the clippings eventually turn into soil they can use in the gardens or planting beds.

Alternatively walker makes an add on to that mower were you can prop open then back of the GHS and rear discharge out onto the lawn, A lot cheaper than a new SD deck.

Also you could build the compost bin at your shop (if you have room) and turn it over with a loader occasionally (rent or borrow) and eventually sell the results as composted garden soil.

I am a home owner and only use the machine on my personal residence. I do not want to have a compost bin in my yard.

I have thought of purchasing that rest attachment to make sure the back gate stays open in order to rear discharge. If it doesn't sell I will try that in the spring.

Damn. If I had the room I would be all over this mower.
I am beginning to think nobody has any money.

I use the back attachement for my 42 mower and it does a good job. I also bought and used the mulch insert sold on ebay and was nice if you mowed your lawn when needed. I mow too many junk lawns to keep this mulch insert on my mower. Would sell this mulch insert for $75 plus shipping.

I have had a bunch of people come look at it. None of them have argued the price, but none of them have had the cash either. I get "I need to get approved for a loan". "Can I make installment payments". "Want to trade"

Why come look at the machine if you don't have the money? It's frustrating. So now I am turning people away. I let them know right from the start if they don't have cash in hand I won't show them the machine.

I dont blame you for turning them away. If you have to get a loan for a $8000 mower you probably should not be buying it.
