Stihl FS130 Idle and Max RPM Issues

For those of you that have a FS130, does it sound like a rev limiter on a drag car when it's at max rpm. Mine sounds quite similar to that and also is not holding idle (idles what I consider to be low). It also does not turn as many rpms as my old FS 55, though I understand they're two different machines. FS 130 is brand new as of today.

Moved from a 0.5 acre lot to 10 acres so sold my FS 55 and picked up a FS 130 today. They took one out of the box, tried to get it going, but it was "acting up", so they took the carb off of the one on the wall, initially said it was still acting up, but later came out and said it was running fine. I get it home and once warm it holds idle for say 10 seconds as I'm walking around the field then it dies b/c it sounds like it is just idling too low. When at max throttle it sounds like it has a significant rev limiter going on, but I've had my fair share of crummy Stihl carbs, so it very well may be a fuel issue.

How do yours sound / run?

Try turning the idle screw in the clockwise direction by 1/4 to 1/2 turn.

The 4 mix's all hit the rev limiter at WOT without a load besides of the string or other head attachment. I flat hate the sound too. I wish they'd make a stop for the trigger just a hair short of that point to keep them from sounding so ******.

I'd say that they set the idle too low when they swapped carbs over.
