good luck, but you will not create a better mower then scag or exmark, they are the best and most popular for a reason, they are built like tanks, especially scags, the stock spindles will last for close to 4000 hours, and for the brakes the brakes are only as good as the traction the front wheels have....stopping rarely an issue, if it is its operator error.

I don't know how I missed this thread. I can say after all my years of mowing without brakes and never having an issue it will take some serious innovation on other fronts to grab even a slice of the market share. More than ever guys don't have the money to play musical brands, so they really need to get this right the first time.
