I would wait til august and advertise aerating if you have that service. If you get hits.for that you could probably get them into a srrvice contract too

We just started again...finally caught up on landscaping projects, etc. Our goal is to advertise all year round, every month.

My 2 cents...

If you need accounts and have the time I would do it tomarrow.

A lot of business is the elderly that cant do their own yards anymore, some reach that point everyday.

Naturally you you may not get the better Spiring time results, but even if you pick up a couple of accounts its worth it.

I would if your looking for more work.
1. People move and may have just acquired the residence and are looking for service.
2. People give up on it themselves for reasons mentioned or their equipment breaks and they don't feel it is worth it to replace it.
3. People are unhappy with the service they have and want somebody different.
4. Properties come up for sale or rent and need to be maintained until new people take over, these may only be for a month or 2 but better than nothing and it gets your name out there.

Whether end of July 2012 or sometime in August 2012 I put out flyers.

Got two snow removal customers for this past winter.

They then turned into two landscape customers this year.

Adding customers can happen. If you need to fill your schedule then advertise.

I've had 4 calls in the last 24 hours and I haven't advertised in months.

There are always people looking for someone to care for their lawn.
