Can you be 100% sure he does not have your client base? Prices and such? They also run a lawn care company.

For us, we just use it for scheduling and invoicing mostly, we do financial work and expenses through QB in house. So technically, yes, someone probably could go in and look at our list of clients and how much we are charging each one I guess. If they are a competitor, I would look elsewhere - there are other decent options out there as well.

The first question you ask is what securities do you have in place for your software. SAP is very secure and no one even the owner Jonathan couldn't see your info even I'd he wanted to.
I understand your concerns, but if this was possible then lawsuits would be flying. I use SAP for our mosquito barrier business and really like it. The customer support is very helpful and responsive. In fact, I don't know of any other company except for maybe Go Daddy that I had great service from. Yes it takes time to set up, but once it is, it really is a great program for both owner and crew. Good luck Posted via Mobile Device |

does he personally guarantee that my client base will not make it to Citilawns. It is not like I am 200 miles away. I am in the same market. No thanks.

Its a great piece of software. We use it for our business in North Dallas and mow some lawns next door to Cititurf (Jonathans company). I have had personal conversations with him about our company, emails, chats etc. . . there is enough work for everyone starting a software company that is FAR better than any other lawn software out there just to steal other companies clients seems a bit far reaching. I attribute our rapid growth to many of the features within the software . . . love it! and as mentioned before their response time to any issues is top notch.

It makes sense that software designed by someone in the industry target is likely to be feature rich. Clip and Wright Mowers started by a lawn mowing company but they have split up those companies up a long time ago.
Clip has a lot of great features but that old fox pro is hard for me to get past too. |
