My Bunton textron won't move
Hi all I am new to the site! I have a bunton textron (model no: 633003 and serial no: 63300300133) that I just put a new peerless transmission(700-078A) on because it was losing pulling power. Well now that I have the new transy on, it is still losing power and I don't know what to do. Sometimes I can walk behind it, but it will not pull me on a velky. I'm kinda stressed out about it because I need it to work. Has anyone ever ran into this problem. At first, I thought it was the brakes, so I adjusted those and that didnt work. Then I adjusted the ones on the side connected to the brake shoes and that didnt work. Its like it wants to go, but then while the motor is running, the transmission just STOPS while its in gear. Then it might ease along a little bit before it completely stops again. I have no idea where to go from here! Please help if you have any solutions.

I'm sorry, I forgot to mention it has a Kawasaki 14hp fc420v engine on it!

Sounds like the belt from the engine to the trans is not tight.

I have a gear drive bunton and the manual shows that the tranny appears to be just basic gears so if the pulleys on the output of the trans stop turning under load then I would think the only thing it could be is a worn or loose belt from the engine to the input of the trans.
