How to deal with a nutty customer

I have this 95 year old lady as a customer she lives alone. I picked her up
this season. She has a pretty big lawn. Its about a 1/2 acre lot .I use my 36 inch wright stander on her lawn . Its the only mower I have besides a 21 inch push . She saw me multiple times using my wright stander on her lawn from the start of the season. The other day she tells me that my 36inch wright stander is to small for her property . Can you use your big sit down mower with the box on the back that you used in the beginning of the season on my lawn. I was very confused since I don't own anything but my 36 inch wright stander. I really did not know what to say because I think she is senile and doesn't know any better. She is 95 years old . How should I handle this situation? . Her son does come from pa every couple weeks , should I talk to him?

Tell her you must be thinking of the previous lawn guy. That is what I would do. Tell her that you don't own anything like that.

At a certain point in your life you will start to have minor memory loss, dementia or even Alzheimer's. Make sure you treat someone how you'd like to be treated when you're up there in age.

The only thing to do is tell her that she may be thinking of a previous lawn contractor. What she is asking you is to bag her lawn because she is thinking of a Walker mower, or another mower with a clamshell/3-bin bagger.

I think she may also be asking to have it bagged. That, or she thinks you're spending to much time there (quite the opposite to most customers)

95 and still going is impressive. Like others said treat her with respect and get the lawn down a little faster. If the property is big don't get real fancy weed wacking in the back of where she doesn't go. I've thrown a bagger on for a customer I used to have. He would come out to watch me lol
