need help please!!! removing bluegrass from fescue

Here in Oklahoma (warm climate) I've got a relatives lawn that is all fescue due to it all being shaded.... its a beautiful lawn! Almost flawless.... he has had bluegrass start showing. Up the last 2 years. How can we remove this and still keep our fescue.... what timing as well cause he overseeds typically within next couple weeks....

Are you sure it is not annual bluegrass? Poa annua?

You can apply barricade as a fall pre emergent if your not overseeding. But it should probably already be down.
