Final cut of the year!!!

Lets say just for the sake of argument that you can control when you make your final cut of the season. How short do you cut it and when (general time frame) do you do it?

Im curious to hear others.

Ill start.....

We will do ours roughly around the week of Halloween and we cut it to about 2.5-3 inches. Makes blowing leaves easier.

my final cut will be probably the last week of november at the normal 3" to 3.5" cut.

I service properties for leaves on a weekly basis mowing them up.

Sometime around thanksgiving. 3.25 for the last cut. I mow weekly through Oct. then a couple mows in November depending on the leaves.

Typically last week of cuts is last week of October, 2.5 inches.

However this season, I think I have already done the final cuts on many of my lawns.
Drought just reeked havoc with mowing this season, sales are way off the mark. 2nd year in a row now.

My final cut is sometime in November (could be early or late depending on snow). Usually I cut my weekly lawns at 3"-3.5" but for the final cut I shoot for 2.5"-3".

I hack the stuff down to 2.5in some time around the end of Oct. Then I finish leaf clean ups by Christmas or before. If it snows, I'm in snow removal mode until spring. Anything I missed will get cleaned up then.

my last mow of the season is usually 3rd or 4th week of October. But I'm generally not done with leaves until 3rd week of Dec, barring snow.
