Colored asphalt , is there such a thing?

Hey guys, we are doing a project and need to know if there are any companies that have an asphalt product that comes in colors. I am looking for a brown.

Google it... apparently there is colored asphalt and.there a colored sealent that seems the way to go....very cool actually by all the pics.... suprised not many know about this?

Asphalt comes in colors. Black, dark grey, lighter grey, dirt, ...

I've sometimes seen different colors but they were achieved by putting a tar sealer coat and coloured rock on top, and rolling it while the tar was still hot.

The nature of the binder -- black gunk -- imposes a limitation on the basic colour. If it comes on other colours it's either paint or a sealer and coloured rock.

The best paint for asphalt comes in two colours. Yellow and white.... (grin)

Paint? Call your local highway department. That's also why the very limited range of colours. Google "highway line paint" Nope that didn't work. Call the highway department.

It may come in blue now too. They marked a bike race here in town, and it lasted for at least 2 years.
