My 98 Ranger has 228k on it and hasn't had much done to it other than routine maint, oil, belts, tires, batteries I did have the front end rebuilt two years ago and last year had the AC replaced but still not bad for a 98, I've had toyota's and my mother won't drive anything but a toyota, but for serious hauling and pulling on a daily basis it's a Ford for me. I've never had an issue with any of the fords I've owned but I never had any issue's with the toyotas either so their both good in my book, I admit, I'm ruthless when it comes to maint on my vehicles though.

it is you just have to read between the lines. a stihl is a chevy and an echo is a ford. it's all there plain as day if you look hard enough. buy a toyota. can you guess what a toyota is?
