Same thing when going backwards, is this normal?
If one side is faster in both forward and reverse you should have three general possible causes.

1. uneven tire pressure. the diameter would be greater on the one with more psi

2. partially open freewheel valve. There are black knobs that stick out laterally just in front of each tire and 3-5 inches toward the center of the machine. They point toward the front castor wheels and you pull them forward to freewheel. one could be locked or the rod that connects it to the drive unit could be bent, thus shorthening the effective length and allowing partial fluid bypass

3. an issue with the slow side drive unit. Air in the system, component wear, fluid contamination, etc. Could be time for a fluid change even.

Good luck - these zt3400's are pretty solid units

While we're at it, does anyone know the correct positioning and tension for the bolt and nut that holds the foot pedal onto the main body? Mine came undone and ever since I put it back it keeps coming loose and I can't find any pics of how it originally went

Pro Stance 52

Im looking at getting one of these next week. How well does the mulch kit do on these machines? I have to use a mulch kit due to this thick bermuda grass. My decision is between the Pro Stance 52 and the VRide 52. Tuff choice to make. Was not real impressed with the Toro Grandstand. Thanks

Sorry I have no experience with the mulch kit. The deck on the Pro-Stance is more tightly baffled which would IMO be a good fit for a mulch kit.

Gravely Pro stance 52 with Kohler EFI has been ordered. Should be here in 3 weeks. Looking forward to it's arrival. Thanks for all the reviews which helped me decide which stander to buy!
