Honda 48" Commerical Mower HRC7013

Hello,
I own two honda 48" wb commercial hydro mowers m/n HRC7013. I am looking to find information regarding parts... specifically spindles. Honda parts prices the spindles at $230 per unit. Ouch! I have heard that the decks were made for Honda by a third party. I'm hoping the third party company's spindles would be a match. Does anyone have any information regarding the origin of the deck and it's components that could help?

Thank you

Do you need the whole spindle or can you rebuild it?

unless the shaft broke or the housing exploded you should be able to fix it for 20-40 bucks in bearings.

Honda did make them, but it's been a good number of years back, 10 or so? I don't have much knowledge here but what I've read in the past... And that is that parts for those are very hard to locate as many are no longer available. If you can get them direct through Honda I'd bet that's about it. You may hunt around the net, or Ebay, and see if anyone has some that they have pulled off a scrapped machine that are in decent shape. That or go the direction you are already looking and find another brand that will fit and go with it.

Thank you for the help...... The Bunton spindle worked perfectly.... Replaced the middle spindle and both pulleys lined up right on the money. The Bunton spindle was $140 less than the Honda replacement

I think they may have been made by Bunton. The machines look very Buntonesque. Obviously they got Honda engines and other touches. The one thing I question is I have seen plastic idler pulleys on some of the Hondas I have seen pictures of and cant say I have ever seen that on a Bunton.
