TG Truck
Been looking at some old Tg trucks and came across a fairly clean one. This one is setup a little different than most i've seen. It has three pumps, three hose reels and i assume three seperate tanks. Was this probably a tree/shrub truck? Just dont see where you would store fert, spreader, ect.

There is no telling. If u r talking about an old hippo style truck.. we put fert. In back and there was side compartment just for spreader.

Sometimes there is a compartment right behind the cab.

I figured i wasn't the only one that spotted it.What do you mean it does not fit as a normal app truck? Could it be used for that? I need to be able to carry fert. Ect.. As someone who has some have you been pretty happy so far?

It has no room for dry storage, just liquid only. Yes they are built like a tank. Tg has a bunch of tards running them and the techs tear them up.

Do you know how those tanks are set up? Just wondering if you could remove one to make room?

I drove a TGCL Tree care rig (Hippo) for five years. It had no side compartment in the rear for the spreader but did have the big back door with lots of storage behind the tanks.
I believe there were two D-30 pumps and one D-10 or 15. Two hose reels. Mine was an International. Great rigs. The truck itself is like a tank. Easy to drive. Is this thing you have or are looking at a Hippo (International) or a Rhino (Isuzu or whatever with a tilt cab)? It sounds like a Rhino TC rig if you have no storage. I had an area in back of my hippo that was at least 6 feet wide, five feet deep and almost five feet high. What size tanks? If I remember correctly the hippo has two 300's and a 150. (Or were they 200's....I forget) Last edited by Cadzilla; 10-09-2012 at 01:52 PM. |
