Making Switch & Go bodies

Just curious. With the switch and go systems, is it feasible to turn standard truck bodies into switch and go bodies with minor fabrication or do you have to buy the companies bodies?

it would depend on the current bodies condition and construction type ,rotten old bodies probably not worth it ,feeble poorly constructed bodies probably not worth it ,good condition well built body might be worth looking into .Being able to fab it yourself would be a huge plus ,as shop labour might not make it feasable .

I know a company that has a few switch and go's. the have a few bodies they modified to work. They get the job done and look descent but you can definitely tell the difference by the way it looks on the truck, they don't fit as snugly.

okay ya, thats what i was looking for. IDK if somehow the switch and go bodies are designed extensively to get them to work/look just right or if its just a frame welded to a body. Like a regular dump body. Would it be way up high?
