How many hours are too many?

I've been looking at buying a utility tractor, but I don't want one that's used up already. Would you buy the tractor I've posted here? If so what kind of $ would you offer for it? Thanks.

Couldn't get the link to work but copied and pasted and got it that way. Those hours (713) are on the low side actually. The machine looks to be well cared for but $29k doesn't exactly sound like a baragin. How much are they new? I know those cabs aren't cheap.

I priced out a new Grand L40 with several implements and extended warranty for about $55,000 before any rebates/haggling.

I see my link doesn't work, so for all others it's a '08 Kubota L5240 with 71" bucket. 713hrs for $29k.

700 hours is not high at all for a well maintained machine. There are lots of well running kubota tractors out there with over 5000 hours. There are a some kubotas documented with 10,000 hours still in working condition!

No the intent of the thred but 52hp is a huge tractor, why so big?

700 hours isnt much.

I'm of the opinion that it's better to have more than you need than not enough. I plan to run a broom of the front, use it for bush hogging and pasture maintenance, load pallets of fertilizer and other materials, and on occasion snow removal. With that in mind what size tractor would you recommend?

just bought a kubota 8560 and what you state is what i intend to use mine for.
