Mulch Mower

I've decided to get a serious mulch mower, with the best in mulching blades...

What advice do you have???

Are you looking for a 21inch mower or a mid size walk behind?

Most mid size walk behinds you have to buy the mulch kit but another option is to run gator g6's they mulch the clippings but side discharge. No mulch kit needed.

For 21inchers youll have many options but no mower mulches good in wet spring growth.

If you are talking about getting a mulch kit, you want to go with the wavy mulching blades. This is if its a full kit. I have run regular gators with just a plate that works fine. But if its a full kit, I'd go with wavy blades

Yeah the full kit with the wavy blades is the best route imo.

Just a 21" trim mower is all I really need... there are several maple trees dropping leaves that would be best mulched in rather than removed... I wouldn't attempt to do the whole lawn with it, and none of my other mowers do the job very well...
I've been making multiple passes to get the job done in the past but now I'm thinking of doing more trees if I had an adequate machine...

Is it possible that putting these wavy blades on the machines I have will do the trick? I don't seem to get much vacuum however...

Toro Pro lines like the 22197

Not the best in wet grass but what mower is when mulching?

Thanks, I'll see what the dealership has to say about the 22197 series... most dealerships only know the machines but not how they truly are in the field... I appreciate the input...

Anytime. I would recommend the Toro Prolines to anyone, great mowers.

Only issue is cost, they can run from 1200-1350 depending on your region. Worth it imho, they are built like tanks and should last you a long time wth regular maintenance.
