Www.shumatetruckcenter.com might be worth a drive. They have an eclectic collection of commercial vehicles of all kinds.

Try
Middle Georgia Freightliner Isuzu
www.gatrucks.com

They usually get some 3-4 year old trucks that come off of lease with varying mileage.
And probably not too far from you.

This truck has a 16' box like I am looking for... But it is a little odd... Do you see any potential issues using this a mowing truck?

I would pay special attention to the loading of it. It seems like with the rear wheels where they are there isn't a lot of room to load the front and rear axle. I would worry about the effects a ramp & mower placement would have on reducing front axle weight.
I would weight it at a scale before purhasing. A light front axle might seem well in dry weather but come wet/rain it may show itself in a terrible way - especially since most of the braking power comes from the front disc brakes.

Looks very clean and purdy from here!

It's a 16' box with a 150" wheel base. It is an NPR HD. Morgan Boxes doesn't seem to think there should be a problem with the 16' box. 18' box on that size wheel base they started showing concern when we said we were adding a dovetail.

The low height of that door somewhat scares me. Do you see any potential hazards with a door like that? Obviously other delivery type companies use them all the time with out issues, I am just trying get some other ideas...

I would have liked to have found a morgan box with a side door, but at the time when I was looking there were none in the price range I was in. With a side door or just a dovetail ramp, their will be always potential issues that come up. I tell my guys to watch out for those steep drives and do they? No. They will drag the bottom of the ramp, but it is built sturdy enough to take some abuse. The side door prevents you from having to drop the ramp and lift the rear door just to get a trimmer or blower. Handy to have.

Just my opinion. Someone will say, don't buy it, but think about how it will benefit you or not.
